If you'll notice while scrolling through various weapons in the equipment screen, different weapons do change HP sometimes. That's an added incentive for you to use them if you value HP over defense or something.

You can't change the amount of HP you get at level up, to my knowledge.

My characters are at level 61 right now, and they don't even have 9999 HP with a bubble belt on, so I don't think they'll have 9999 hp bare at 99. Although I haven't levelled to 99 so I can't say for sure!

Just out of curiosity, Rubah. When did you actually get the game?

Oh, and i dont think that you can change the amount of HP gained by leveling either, but im no expert
I made one myself for a change! Although you can probably tell that..

Most characters have around 5000-6000hp at 99
maybe a little higher even, but that's pretty much it for my file

    w00t ?

My guys are at 4,000 - 4,200 HP or 8,000+ with bubble belts at level 64.

Does the Clan Rank make a difference ?

I was subtracting the 850hp or so in augments you get.

So in actualality, they have around 6000-7000 after augments, before bubble.... I think at least. I'm currently doing a slightly.... powerleveled file for fun, and haven't checked my other file which is 99/99/99/75/75/75 with all 45 marks defeated.

Just loaded it to check. 6200 Vaan, 6300 Basch, 5800 Ashe.
All wearing Heavy armor(so no HP boost)
All with the 1000(500+200+150+100+50) in HP augments.
    So...
    4800-5300 + the 1000 in augments + up to 1600? HP in gear. =
Some 99 characters wearing light armor might top out at 8000 hp barely before bubble.
Without Armor or augments though, the HP is right around 5000.
Perhaps I will try to get the second file up to 99 as well to see if there is any random variations in the HP system, although I believe they would probably be small and not be more than 300hp or so by 99.

By the way.... Ghis is fun at level 23 with 3 gladius daggers.

With bubble: Do your guys get to 9,999 max or do they break HP limit ?

They break HP limit, it is just not seen.

    9999/6000~

Something can hit them for a small amount, like 500, and unless my eyes are deceiving me, they do not lose HP.

If equipping +HP armor helps get more hp at level up, i haven't noticed it yet.
It either doesn't or its so small an increase that it's not noticeable.

bubble belts are bought from the clan provisioner in the muthru bazaar.
They double your max hp by giving you auto-bubble
