    Imagine you could have any power you want but after choosing the one power you also get its ugly side effects.... Like you choose to fly but you become blind. what good would it be. you could be super strong but it would make you slower than any creature alive. what would be a good combination that you can figure out how to make it worth the bad side to choose the power.

    i think i would want the power of constantly being on fire though i couldn touch thigs i wantd o sleep from the bright ligh but i could do some neat stuff

    This causes me to think of the tale of the king that was granted the power to touch anything and have it turn to gold. He soon touched his daughter and she was instantly made to become gold.

    It could have been a fable myth of some sort.

    EDIT: Yes, it would appear to have been King Midas, Iri. There are variations in the tale (most notably that he sometimes has a son instead of a daughter, or no offspring to speak of), but the tale of King Midas is indeed the tale I was speaking of.
