How about WALKING 30+ miles from where i live to Meir (near Stoke-on-Trent) with only a waterbottle and no food all day? Plus i ended up walking further than that because i kept getting lost on the way due to a certain friend of mine who kept getting us lost. So in the end we ended up walking like 40+ miles due to his incompetency!

Oh well it was heaven when we finally got to our destination after braving multiple LONG stretches of motorway...I've never been so glad to rest my feet, have some crisps and drink some cola in all my life!

toronto to sudbury....a LONG drive it was about three and a half hours...at 120 km/h that's 420 km give or take i think...

yeah sudbury sucks, it's not worth driving that long.

It's about 200 miles from Lawrence to Wichita. I drive back almost every weekend. I started driving long distances last summer when I wanted to randomly check out my dorm and the town I was going to live in with a friend of mine. I accidentally hit a deer on the way back though. :/

I don't drive, but my first (and so far only) trip without my family was only this summer. -_-;; I flew to Toronto on my own dollar and made my own way and took care of myself for two weeks and had a great time and then came back. :P

If I could drive, though, I'd only really drive long-distance (unless someone else was paying). Public transport is cheap.

I used to drive 1,000 mile trip in one drive every now and then. I would leave at midnight and get there sometime in the afternoon.

When I got my first car I had to drive it home from Beverly Hills at night. That's like... sixty miles or something. That's still probably the furthest I've driven in one go. xD
