What are these Grimiores that everyone is talking about?

There's two kind of Grimiores. One is an Item you can get throughout the game, that when used during a battle will call up a random Summon. The other is a GBA version only, that you win after completing each character's trial in the bonus dungeon the Lunar Ruins. You'll get a Grimiore named after the boss you defeat in that trial (a harder version of one of the Summons), if you use it in battle it allows you to be able to access that character's trial again,(it also has some wacky effects on Zeromus if you use it on him).

Are they worth it?

Not really, although being able to turn Zeromus EG into a Toad is alway's fun. :D

Grimoires are items that are obtained in Characters' Trials that will let you summons the Lunar Summons. They hit all enemies for 9999 damage unless the enemy is Zeromus EG. If that's the case then status ailments will be inflicted on Zeromus EG instead of damage.

They're not exactly worth it when you're facing the Lunar Summons at Level 60-70. However, levels past 70 should make them more easy to get as well as the Lunar Ruins equipment.
