T.M.N.T.
Are you going to buy the T.M.N.T movie game when it comes out? I'm a little wary about this game because in the recent past and even before that most of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle games sucked...But I suppose this one does look somewhat promising because the developers are using the Prince of Persia engine, but that still isn't enough to get me excited.
I read a hands on preview of it on IGN a week or two ago. Basically said it was far too easy, and the platforming elements sounded like a watered down Prince of Persia. That's not to say it will be bad, but I wasn't exactly wowed, and from the sounds of it they weren't either.
Yep that sounds like your basic run of the mill, movie game and I'm willing to bet that it's going to be short too.
On the bright side, even if it is a watered down Prince of Persia that's far too easy and even much too short, it'd still be better than any 3D TMNT game put out by Konami in recent years.
I'm not sure about it. It looks pretty cool, even though its physics are kinda strange, in a cool ninja way... Like, jumping really far, and then suddenly some other turtle jumps in and throws you farther. Some of the running on walls stuff looks pretty cool too... But the fighting looks like crap, which saddens me. Your weapon kinda just goes through them while they do some sort of "Ow!" animation. o_O

For me however this was their best game, and one of their hardest ones ever, surpassing every other game. But even the 2-D side scrollers of the SNES and the 2nd and 3rd game of the NES seemed alot more fun than the demos i played of the newer games...so i personally kinda wish theres more oldschool goodness.
Maybe Nintendo will release the old 2D TMNT games on the virtual console someday.
My favorite platformer when I was a kid. The video reminds me of how cheap Donatello was.
I don't really care about the new game, but the original TMNT arcade game is coming to Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday, and that makes me extremely happy.
