AMD Athlon Xp Processor

My computer is 2/3 years old and barely adequate for what I want it to do.

512MB RAM
160GB Hard Drive
ATI Radeon X300SE
That's what it says on the box anyway.

now my computer is only a laptop with a modest microprocesor 2.0 ghz
and i am happy with that
Mine is crap! I got it at 'computer outlet' for $99 its just a clearence sale computer with windows XP. It plays Freelancer ok though.
In a laptop 2 GHz could either be bad or good, depending on the type of processor. If it's a pentium 4, it's bad, if it's a Pentium M, or a Pentium Core Duo, it's good.

I think you should make your own desktop instead...its cheaper for the same specs and performance...Also I my friend has a customizable laptop so It's now possible to make your own laptop I'm assuming since Iv'e seen so many customizable laptops...the bad thing is it has like a 2inch box under it where all the customization goes own so it weighs more and can break easily if dropped
Mines new enough but nothing too special.

Also has an old Creative Audigy soundcard. <a href="http://www.saitekusa.com/usa/prod/eclipse2.htm">My keyboard</a>, <a href="http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=2142,CONTENTID=10715">my mouse</a>, <a href="http://www.apple.com/displays/specs.html">my monitor (20" one)</a>.
My other computer is an old Pentium 4. And I have an older Pentium 3 lying in parts.
Unne and I apparently have the same keyboard. I'm not sure what that may mean, but hmmm...
...
Actually their clock speed is faster, the chips themselves are still lagging behind AMD in overall speed as Intel chips bottleneck so you don't even use most of the 3+ GHz they have.
You know a 750W Power Supply is pritty much redundant in almost all but the most over powered or hard drive filled machines so it's needless costing you and the environment when a 500W would probably suffice you. Larger numbers don't always mean better.
Even though I detest Macs at times they are pritty and good with graphics, so pictures please :p
Oh my systems?
