Well, what do you have for a computer?
I just finished building my new desktop (just need a video card and a new monitor would be nice )
Microsoft XP 64 bit Edition
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.2 GHz
2 GB CORSAIR DDR RAM
Biostar NF61S Micro 754 with
onboard Nvidia 6100 video
Realtek onboard sound
550 wat power source
currently a 80 GB HD;180 GB SATA also have a 250 GB external.
it's purty. Will be neatened up this comming weekend. This was a quick fix for my failing laptop.

At the microcenter near in boston...they have a BYOC(build your own computer section) and I'm gonna build my own very soon but...

for now I have a sony vaoi desktop PCV-RX770 w/pretty much defaults
windows xp home sp2
intel pentuim 4 2.0ghz w/ p-1???? socket so I have to replace it cuz this type of socket is relly outdated...need a 775

ADDED: WOAH!!! 64Ghz...super computer alert super computer alert...Is that even possible for a personaly computer...I know processors are tiny but 64GHZ?...my mistake 2.2...dam u win mines says 2.18 wen I check it...blast u and ur .02 more...but-u- wait! ..urs is an amd athlon so its less than it actually claims cuz Athlons suck...mwuahahhaha I win

I fixed that It's 64 bit
and how are Athlon not good? My CPU runs at 29 C where as my wonderful Pentium 4 ran at a teaming 70 C. It also over heated all the time. Intel also just beefs up old tech where as AMD uses new cooler running tech. AMD > Intel.

Intel's chips are better - at the moment

My computer just has a -ton of HDD space (750Gigs) and a 750W power source since my friend accidentally ordered two.

Everything else is rather standard:

My comp is a few years old. Just bought a new Antec Solo case for the old girl though. Currently, my hardware specs are:

CPU: AMD Athlon XP-M 2600@2.4 GHz
Motherboard: Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe w/Trats BIOS 1013
RAM: 2x512 MB Crucial PC4000 Ballistix Tracer
Video: ATI Radeon X700 Pro
Sound: Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2
Hard Drive: Combined total of 360 GB

It's not the fastest set up out there, but it still keeps up fairly well with the low end crowd.

It's not the best but it's good enough to play Gothic3 at it's maximum so I'm quite delighted

Actually, the only thing I like about the computer is the printer. An Epson Stylus C88, which is totally 1337.
