Chaos used XFER on my Knight once, and then he did a lot of damage.

It's possible that the spell decreases the defense on your chatacter by a lot.

It's also possible that Chaos can do high amounts of physical damage.

Hard to say.

But between Fade and Life2, there really isn't much time for wasting a lv. 8 point on XFER, imo.
