I think he's a bit of a control freak and kind of a nazi myself. Really, he belongs behind bars. At the very least a mental institution. Living with Pinocchio and his constant whining of wanting to get old and die like a real human has clearly effected Jim's judgment.

Furthermore, when I shrunk myself in the Alice and Wonderland world, Jiminy could have hopped out so that we'd be of similar size and then help me fight. But where was he? Where did he do? He's a lazy ass, that's what's what. He just conveniently disappeared.

Squash him.

For having such extensive journal entries, you'd think SE would compensate with giving him a few additional lines as well as providing him an active role in the plot. Sadly, all we get is one line and a ton of mind-numbing tasks. It's easier to just beat the game on Proud Mode.
