It's about a guy who's on so many medications he's dead inside and his interactions with a free-spirited girl he meets while he's visiting home for his mother's (or father's? I don't remember) funeral. It's very good.

On first viewing I thought it was a pretty good movie. Then I watched it again and realized it was just a typical "indie" film, trying hard to be unique when it wasn't. The ending was just so typical and cliche, as was pretty much the whole movie. It's decent enough, but nothing special in my opinion.

One of the reasons I love it so much is the fact that it's so emotionally powerful, so yeah, John Williams' best work IMO.

To offset it, though, I also love the LoTR score. Perfect Vocal harmonies and chord progression with the trumpets/french horns.
