    i think most of the best films have great soundtracks you can tell by a start of a film most of the time if its any good by its sound track.

    Not sure if you would consider The Wall a soundtrack, but I would have to say that and most definitely The Fountain OST.

    Well, Rent is the obvious answer, but that's cheating. Of normal movies? Escape From New York.

    Oh, yes RENT. The movie version definitely sounded better than the original cast version.

    The Fountain, without a doubt. Death is the Road to Awe is such an incredibly intense song to listen to, especially after seeing it used in the film.

    Blade Runner! Vangelis did an amazing job. I especially enjoy the Main Title and Rachel's Song.

    Agreed. Together We Will Live Forever is so beautiful and haunting. The entire soundtrack is, actually.

    The soundtrack to Blade Runner is not only the best movie soundtrack ever produced, but also the best recording ever. Period.
