Mer-people wouldn't have to, as they have about twice as much space as we land dwellers have. I think they would make excellent sea-rescue teams though.

well its not so scary when you think about it, cause what if a horse walks up behind you in a farm? its pretty much the same except instead of a "neigh' you get a 'hey hey there lil man!'
