And then the 2nd time I completed the game:

the first time i finsihed the game i had cloud tifa barret in my main team. they were all 50-ish i think

now i hav cid barret n cloud for omnislash, ungarmax n highwind. i try to make them all 99 to boost sephiroth beyond all reason

sephis stats r boosted by certain things. for every char at lv99 he will hav an extra 10,000hp, and if u use KotR on final jenova he will get a hp boost too but i can't remember wot it is

Lvl 99 chars will make his HP increase by 100,000, and using KOTR will increase it by 200,000. So I would advise not to do that, or the battle with Sephie, will get quite messy.

well yeah I was just wondering, because me and my friend planned on getting KOTR this time around, and possibly beating the Weapons, we'll see how that goes

I also decided to do that KotR thing to increase his hp by 200,000hp plus with one lvl 99 character and the battle was so long and dramatic especially at the end. Cloud was dead, Barret was a frog, and Cid was almost dead from that Super Nova attack. I finished off the battle with Cid casting Ultima which added a little flavor to my ending.
