To make a point, I'll expand the character I made:

Appearance: Brown eyes, totally black hair (messy, but not spiky). Determined, grave expression is typical.
Clothing: Black. Black jeans, black hooded sweatshirt. a little plain, but it fits his general idiom.
Personality: "There are some people like me who've killed their emotions." --Shadow, FFVI. This character is not especially emotive, but at the same time is not mysterious. He occasionally shows that there are things he cares about. Has a personal code, but no one really know it.

Things like this are allowed.
