I'm lost

In the Nibelheim Sewers I keep on looking for the next thing to do after unlocking the door to where all of the blue soidiers keep coming out from. So I decide to go in that room and keep on killing like madness and all a get as a "reward" is Game Over. So I got tired of doing this so I wonder what am I suppose to do at this point. Anything would probably help. Oh you get a headache after playing this game cuz I do and I'm starting to stop play the game. The faster I beat it the lesser the headache.

Thats a room where the soldiers keep coming from those hallways. There is nothing in there except for the little items within it. The story continuation area to go to is not there.

just make sure you get on the third floor instead of the second
