I DO WHAT I WANT. YOU HAVE PROBLEM?
Crystal Chronicles was a poor execution of a decent idea. The chalice worked well enough at keeping players together on the same screen, but even in multiplayer it was too much of a pain in the butt. In single player, that frelling Moogle got too tired way too quickly, and in multiplayer he wasn't there at all (and having one character do nothing but drag a stupid item around the entire time is a recipe for disaster). Had the moogle never gotten tired and been around in both single and multi player, the game would have been a lot better. The other really big problem I had with the game was the artifact selection. Artifacts control all your stats, and, to get the best artifacts, you needed high scores. And luck. The luck aspect killed it. Even with a score high enough to get the best artifact selection a level had, getting the worst selection because the game's RNG screws you made it not worth even trying.
Fix the stats and the moogle, and I would think this was a game worth playing.
My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.
He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.

I agree. On one of the rare occasions me and three other friends actually got together to play this game one of us would soon get tired of lugging the thing around and try to get someone else to take over. It is a lot more fun multiplayer but I agree with Skyblade; it was a good idea just could've been executed better. Having said that, I generally enjoyed the game.
Not my words Carol, the words of Top Gear magazine.
