I remember, long ago, we had a Virtua Fighter game for our computer, and it had an online mode which was accessible by choosing "multiplayer" instead of "2-Player Match", or something along those lines. Alas, we lacked the intarwebz at the time, and by the time we did, the servers were down. Now, after that, I looked at the T.V. ...

" ... ... ... DOA (put number here)... ... ... first online fighting game... ..."

One of my favorite games for the Genesis at one point was the regular Mortal Kombat 3. Not Ultimate, just Mortal Kombat 3. I watched the T.V. one day...
