That's my point! IMO, this will take place several years before KH and that's why it won't be called KHIII. I also believe that the remaining two knights might be Sora's parents. We know nothing about them whatsoever and those eyes... As blue as Sora's... Both of them!
I think the next game will not be called Kingdom Hearts 3 because he's considering a PSP KH game, like Chain of Memories. And then the next game for the PS3 will be called Kingdom Hearts 3. Let's not forget the babbling that Nomura often does to the media when he wants to keep quiet what's really going on, and the misinterpretations that the media spins off of that babble. Don't start listening to much of anthing that Nomura says about the game until 6 months before it's release, except major things that would affect the entirety of the game, like main characters and worlds and things of that nature. And even then, not until a year before its release.
In other words, the next Kingdom Hearts is called: Kingdom Hearts Zero.
Why are you guys arguing? ;/ There's no information on what the story is. I'm sure it's going to be hot dead sexy and we're all going to foam at the mouth when more info comes out.

Lets look at what order Capcom made for Resident Evil;
1) Resident Evil
2) Resident Evil 2
3) Resident Evil 3
4) Resident Evil X Code: Veronica
5) Resident Evil 0
6) Resident Evil 4
7) Resident Evil 5
If the story of the 'next' Kingdom Heart happen before KH1, then it would be fair to called it 'Kingdom Heart Zero'.

What I think is: That you see in the end of KH2 that Mickey sends the group a letter of Xehanort's memory returning, so that might imply that they all visit him, and he recalls the whole story about Kingdom Hearts and the past. So you play from his perspective of view, and his history, also it might mean that you will control him as an protagonist. You may actually be a bad guy for once...But I don't know, it's just a theory.

not a bad one, I don't know if i would want to control mickey the whole time, though it would be cool to play him in a few levels. It could show that sequence in the opening fmv and then you play the events that lead up to it, for half the game or so. Either way I wish it would come out sooner than its supposed
