Might as well make this the Cassadaga discussion thread, as it's here.
I'm listening to it for the first time now, and it's definitely a development of the style Conor adopted on Wide Awake. A couple of the songs passed me by without really grabbing my attention, but there are plenty of nice tracks on here. I Must Belong Somewhere is as good as anything he's ever done, and there are some nice string parts on the likes of No One Would Riot For Less that give the record that bit of extra flourish. I haven't had time to fully digest the lyrics just yet, but first impressions suggest that he hasn't lost his touch. All in all, it's one of the best albums I've heard this year, and I can't wait to learn it inside-out.
