European, yes. You also need an adapter to be able to use the power source, since European sockets are different from American ones, and said plugs are also adapted in such a way.

If you live in America, there's little you can do besides bitch about European commodities, unless you are willing to spend the money for the equipment you need.

Different technologies evolve in different countries at different rates. Either socket would overload (or ruin) the other socket, causing massive blackouts due to different energy requirements, expenditures, and other such stuff. If you REALLY want to know why (despite this lawman's explanation), take Electrical Engineering in College.

Funny how its the other way around, about North America and International release dates.

Which gets to the point: why do people bitch and complain so much about a delayed release date, when they usually get extras with the Euro/Aussie release?
    WICKED-AWESOME SIG.

    Release dates trump extra content.

This is, unless of course, the new content is nigh close to a full game overhaul.

Yeah, the fact that battling against the Dark Aeons isn't choosable is pretty darn annoying. I dig the fact that the PAL version has the Expert Grid, though. After playing through the game for the first time, you'll never go back to the Standard Grid ever again because the Expert one is simply much more fun and flexible.
