Yeah, this is personally my favourite Cid. His voice acting and body language shown is just awesome -- it's a shame we couldn't get to see a great deal of him throughout the game.

Other than that, Cid Highwind is pretty cool too -- [strike]Robbin Williams[/strike] Cid from FF8 was too much of a fuddy-duddy!
