Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

Yeah, try out some Tales games and Chrono Trigger / Cross.
"... and so I close, realizing that perhaps the ending has not yet been written."
Some Tales games, Grandia, Legend Of Dragoon, and if you have a PC I strongly reccomend Baldur's Gate II, it's strategish in a way, and a little creepy, but the story and sense of teamwork and strategy is divine. A good MMO will work, like WoW or Guild Wars, a decent sports game will keep you hooked, as well as a Sims game. Overall, a Chrono or Baldur's Gate game will immerse you and won't let you go.
I would go for Chrono Cross, FFT, and over all of them, LEGEND OF MANA

Play Suikoden V (I would also suggest 1and 2 but unless you won a PSP, it's an act of god to find a copy of them:rolleyes2 )
Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne (or Lucifer's Call in Europe)
Persona 2
The Breath of Fire series (Don't listen to people, they are all good)
Xenogears
Vagrant Story
Star Oceon: Second Story
Lufia Series
Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake
Shadow of the Colossus
Ico
Guitar Hero 1 & 2
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past or Twilight Princess
Guilty Gear XX: Midnight Carnival (Just try beating story mode with all endings...)
True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
PSP remakes of Suikoden + Suikoden II never got translated. :aimcry:
So they are actually putting suikoden on the PSP sweet; I played 1&2, beat 3, 4 looked boring and I haven't gotten to play 5 yet
