nice looking FMVs. graphics are improved but im not sure if its for the best. looks good im not getting a PSP just to play this.

looks like FF2 PSP is coming soon. at the end of the trailer it shows the FF2 logo but slightly different and says coming soon.

Yeah, yeah, we can just get the emulator and a pirated version from a P2P network. Who needs a PSP for one game!

Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

I'm gonna get it when it comes out... if I can afford it, that is. I was planning to buy a PSP anyway so I can get Dirge of Cerberus and Crisis Core when it comes out.

Dirge of Cerberus is a PS2 game and it's out already

I suppose it's good that this is what they're doing for the anniversary, as it pisses off all the "ZOMG FF7 REMAKE!" kids.

Yup and it's out since at least 8 months but you should read reviews or rent it before buying this game. It's a crappy game that sold well because it has the name Final Fantasy VII on it IMO. When I was playing it, I asked myself if Square was at least trying to make it good.

Wow. The revamped graphics are an unexpected but nice touch.

So besides the SoC Dungeons, better graphics, and the CG Movies, what else is being added?

i never really believed in buying another system just to play a game with few upgrades..the graphics are nice, but not enough to get me to replay FF1, albeit a good game.

i do'nt reallly understand squenix for releasing this since dos isn't that old....
thanks to Kamiko for the awesome sig and avatar too

I have a PSP, so I'll pick this up definatly, even though I already have it in FF: Origins. But they revamped even more so than the FF:Origins version. I know it sounds like buying when I already have origins, seems retarded. But I like the portable FF's. I can play them anywhere, and I generally do.

I won't be getting this, because I don't have a PSP and I already have Dawn of Souls.

I might download it via ROM with a PSP emulator, someday.
