I was actually not a fan of Resident Evil 4. the controls were almost exactly the same, save for the pseudo first person shooting controls. The battles were pretty uninspired, the story was awful, and the bosses very easy. I kept playing hoping it would get better, hoping something would happen that would make me see what all the fuss was about, but all I got was a Resident Contra game that had contra's gunplay themes with all of RE's prior flaws.

Now if we are talking a new Fatal Frame, then I'm definitely interested.
