At higher levels with the right buffs, It'd be doing multiple hits of 9999 damage each time. There's nothing better seeing the occasional "10 Hits" or "12 Hits" appear on the screen when fighting a boss.
My second favorite is the Excalibur because it makes my life easier when dealing with those undead foes, which there are many of later in the game.
Hey Shiva_, I just got my Masumune and the highest I can deal is around 3500-4000. Tell me, what Buffs will help? (excluding Berserk)

Bravery and Faith help.
Bravery boosts attack power. Faith boosts magic power. Magic power also determines the amount of damage the Masamune will inflict, so Faith will help in this regard.
Amazing, I forgot about that. So it will boost the attack by like 1000, and what level do you have to be, to lay off with 9999 damage?

^Equip Genji Gloves as well. That makes the Masamune amazing.

I can't remember exactly what level I was at before I could do 9999 damage with it (w/ the buffs), but I believe it was a bit above 70.
At level 99, you can do 9999 damage with it with just berserk and no other buffs for the most part. I haven't tried it yet at that level with just bravery and no berserk.

The Sagittarius Bow, for two reasons.
1. It looks cool.
2. I am a Sagittarius.
But the Stone Bow was really funny looking, I had it on Balthier.
my favorite weapon would be the giant stonebow coz it's just so hilarious! i even sometimes wonder how strong the characters' arms are for being able to hold it with one hand, aim it and shoot with it like it's made of thin wood or something... i also laugh everytime they put it on their backs coz i was thinking if it might have hit the ground...
Giant stonebow. I should give that a shot because I've never bought it before.
I'm not too big on weapons. But off the top of my head I'd say the Masamune.
