Make your own Sea Salt Ice Cream

Well, I was looking on KHinsider.com and I found a recipe to make your own sea salt ice cream. Here is the recipe. Tnanks to whomever it was that posted this on KHinsider.

Recipe:
2 eggs
2 C. milk
1/3 cup sugar
1 t. vanilla
1 C. heavy whipping cream
Sea salt to taste
Blue food coloring

Directions:
1. Seperate the eggs into two good sized bowls.
2. Beat the egg whites until stiff.
3. Mix the egg yolks and sugar until thick.
4. Slowly bring milk to boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
5. Pour hot milk into yolk/sugar mixture and mix well.
6. Pour milk/yolk/sugar mixture back into pot and heat on medium until thicker to make a custard. (DO NOT BOIL)
7. Pour custard in with beaten egg whites and mix well.
8. Add sea salt (keeping adding salt until it tastes salty sweet).
9. Put mixture in fridge to cool.
10. Once cool, add cream, vanilla and coloring to mixture.
11. Freeze, following your ice cream maker’s instructions.

Maybe someone on here can try this and see if it works.

This looks like a recipe for something that would be like Breyer's or Turkey Hill. In the game, it's always depicted as a stick of ice-ened slush, but hey, ice cream is ice cream!

I'll remember to get started on this once I learn not to start a fire from opening the fridge.

We can make this or just go buy blue food coloring and buy a big popsicle and dye it blue. I actually might try this just to see what it would taste like.

Gourmet food stores sell sea salt, Wiliams Sonoma for instance.

well Im going to try to make it all though in the game it just looks like popsicle with sea salty sugary flavor to it. So we can just by a regular popsicle add some sea salt and sugar and die it blue then we can make the actualy ice cream and have a taste to see if they would taste the same or not
