Your last chance to get them is from Esto Gaza before entering the Desert Palace on Disc 3.
Why didn't you buy one in Treno on the second disc?
You can steal Grand Armor from the Nova Dragon boss. However, it's very hard; probably almost as hard as stealing the Fairy Flute from Hilgigars.
Tin Armor is NOT worth getting by the way.
You can have the Master Thief ability by the time you fight Nova Dragon, which makes stealing the Grand Armor significantly easier.
with the right abilities i never really found grand armour hard to steal at all even though its rare

I'm not sure if the Grand Armour is Rare or Semi-rare, but with Master Thief the chance of stealing it is 32/256. That's a great improvement from 1/256 for Rare and 16/256 for Semi-rare.
