    I'm not surprised. Years ago when Ragnarok Online was still the hot thing here in the Philippines, I've heard many stories of women offering sex in exchange for zenny (RO's currency) or certain equipment.

    There was even a murder story about a master of a well-known guild in the Lydia server who killed an opposing guild member for real just for a rare monster card.

    And as for cross-universe economy, buying and selling in-game currency and items for PHP (Philippine Peso) is illegal but notoriously common here.

    Sorry I got off topic again. Just thought I'd share the online gaming community of my country.

    There was a 15-year old boy in South Korea who was reported to have played StarCraft for five consecutive days. He was then found dead in the bathroom.

    Also in South Korea, a 25-year old man was reported to have collapsed and died inside an Internet cafe after playing StarCraft for 54 hours straight.

    A South Korean couple was then arrested for abandoning their one-month old baby to die after they got carried away by World of Warcraft in a netcafe.

    And after such news about online addiction spread, so did many urban rumors about people dying in front of their computers.

    But only here in the Philippines where I've heard of online gaming sex trade.

    "Make Love, Not Warcraft" is also not an accurate representation of World of Warcraft in the slightest bit. Except for the majority of Alliance players being little children, anyway. ^_^

    It probably has happened in every MMO over there.

    Forgot to mention;

    A Thai was reported to have committed suicide after his Ragnarok Online account got hacked.

    I know how being hacked feels. It feels so terrible... But on my case not to the point of taking my own life.

    All the bollocks people do for electronic data...
