i think the developers accidently left out at least ten lines of dialoge at that part of the game
Not really dumb moments, but...
...making Cid look like Robin Williams in appearance...
...and making Zell supress his sexuality (because, you know, we can have gay couples in books and TV shows and movies, but it's disgraceful to have it in a game,even one aimed at teenagers)...
...and not making Quitis do anything with her whip...
...and making Dr Odine the only German person there amongst a bunch of Americans...
and making Rinoa go after a bastard Squall when he clearly doesn't love her, let alone like her, when she starts making her stupid advances.

Cid and Edea going "home" to the orphanage in the latter half of the game. It's a knackered old ruin out in the middle of nowhere! Why not go live in the Garden?!

My guess is they went there because they have a strong sentimental attachment to the orphanage.

- The fact that people still insist on the R-U theory even though there's a lot of evidence against it, and it was clearly created by Rinoa haters.
- The fact that people dismiss the orphanage scene as "Deus Ex Machina"(sp?) purley because they didn't notice a ton of subtle clues leading up to it.
- The fact that people can't understand why Squall "suddenly fell for Rinoa" when there is NO SET TIME FOR THE GAME and that there where hints that he was devolping feelings for her as ealry as the parade.
- The fact that people dismiss the Gunblade becuase they can't understand the point.
- The fact that haters of this game practically force everyone to hate it - no other game has it that bad.
