Or how about when people waste their lives away going to the effort of posting in a thread to tell the people there that they're wasting their lives away... etc etc

Or better yet, it's night but the guard doesn't want to let you pass.
You go to the totuk and it's daylight, come back, it's night again?

Has it been a day already?

I don't think anybody remembered to put an ounce of logic into the making of Final Fantasy VIII.

By your logic, they didn't remember to put logic into the making of FFVII too, because it's allways afternoon in Junon. And they didn't rememember to put logic into the making of FFIX, because it's allways night at Treno, and it's allways raining in Burmecia.

They do put night into Junon, its just your never there when it happens

The point he is makeing is that when you enter the city its night and when you exit its miraculously day.

With Burmicia its called the rainy city for a reason, no problem with that either and with treno its night when your in the countryside, so it makes sence that when you enter the city its night there too :rolleyes2

Yeah it's nothing unusual - there are parts of the Earth where it's always raining too (the British Isles) and day or night lasts half a year (North Pole)

It's why they said that the BD allowed unsurpassed storage capacity giving the creator virtually limitless creation of ideas to implement in their games.

So that they're able to make it much more realistic than CDs/DVDs (You forgot FFX, FFXII has no nights...).

Lets get to something funny that isn't in relation to the limited disc storage.

Raijin get his @$$ kicked by Fujin, ya know.
    Sick Soldiers by the trains.
Zell's Hot Dog rush, never actually gets one until the end...
The entire Cam Video is silly.
Watts & Zone (How do thoses two survive from the catastrophie of the Galbadian Army?)

    .... what else.

Rinoa's dog, which has instant teleportation facilities to anywhere in the world and lives in another dimension.

Oh, and that reminds me - Seifer proving he's a big meany in that first mission when that dog turns up.

And from that I also recall being told about a "monster shaped shadow" on the tower. Geee..... I wonder what that could be..... a bird? a plane? ooh! It's a monster!

And those same people loved the plot-twist of Sephiroth(from the first half of FFVII) not being the real Sephiroth, but Jenova. Those people don't wish that Sephiroth had never been in the game, and replaced by Jenova.
Funny how things are, uh? :rolleyes2
Congratulations you've just quoted a post over a year old! Anyway, you're distracting from the Topic. This is about the dumbest moments in FFVIII. If you wish to make a similar topic in the FFVII section, then do so, or just PM me if you want to carry on something that's a year old.

    Anyway.

I can agree with this. It was kinda stupid how Rinoa would whistle and her dog would run through a wall.

A dog to the face hurts more than a logic-defying razor blade-boomerang-ring to the face... but the dog doesn't get hurt... embarrassing...

    Also...
Ward: *throws harpoon* HOLD ON GUYS! I GOTTA GO GET IT! *runs over to grab harpoon*
Monster: *bites Ward as he gets it*
Ward: OW! YOU CAN"T DO THAT!! IT'S MY TURN STILL!!
    Monster: .......... *bites Ward again*
    9999 damage! Ward is dead!
Laguna: OH SH*T! RUN! THESE MONSTER FIGHT WITH LOGIC INSTEAD OF PLAYING BY THE RULES!!!

Well, at least Angelo doesn't follow Rinoa out in space.

Let's try to focus on the funny things instead of thoses illogical.

Illogical is a synonym for dumb, which is the title of the thread... and my response fits in perfectly with all the others. I found these two things to be the among dumbest moments in FFVIII.

Logically, this means that logical is synonymous to smart? Jeez, logical and smart are most definitely not the same thing.
