I thought I might as well start this one up so that we have the 'big four' sports covered. Also this is the only way I pay attention to the NBA these days.

You bastard. I don't pay too much attention to football during the season until playoffs, but I'm around basketball all the time. Can't play the sport worth a damn, but this time I'll sure as hell be active. Sign me up.

I joined last year but I stopped paying attention after a month. It doesn't help that while I watch the occasional game, I don't closely follow the NBA at all.

If we don't get very many more teams I'll beef up our rosters. No sense letting players go to waste. If you guys see any of the fantasy usuals around (who don't visit the forums often) ask them if they want to play.

I'm in. My team is the BALCO Jail Blazers, intentionally named after that Portland team whose players keep getting in trouble with the law, and after that Bay Area corporation that secretly made steroids and sold them to Olympic athletes and baseball players..

After looking my team over further, I am quite happy with the results. I feel that I have players who give me a chance to rack up points in just about every category, which is one of the bigger keys to winning.

Also this year, I'm not going to make the same mistake as last time, when I had the lead late and ran out of games so I ended up losing a lot of points and spots.

I was doing really well when this thing started, and I pummel about 10 points. What the smurf is going on?

This will happen for the first part of the season. Look at it this way, 10 points you lose in a day can just as easily be gained back the next day. It's consistent losses over time that you have to worry about.

I'm very happy with my team's start and with the trade, I think I'm set up to stay strong the whole year. I just have to get my FT% and 3PT% up a bit, which should happen with Ray Allen on the squad.
