Last year in AP English I got an 86% on an essay. It turned out I would've gotten an A on it if I had written a sentence with a semicolon in it to satisfy part of the teacher's rubric ("sentence structure variety")

Also, I once I got an 8 out of 30-something on an anatomy quiz
