Pogs were the meaning of life back in the day.
They still are in some parts of the world. In Micronesia, for instance, Pogs are used as currency. Woe betide the man whose Pogs are not steadfast and sturdy!Originally Posted by Slade

The thing about conkers is that the only ones you could ever find were the deformed, misshapen ones. Nobody else seemed to have that problem.
This is why Pogs were so awesome. The standardised size and shape made for a level playing field between players, as well as eliminating stupid stick-it-an-an-oven-full-of-vinegar-and-parrot-bones cheats. However, I was (and still am) pretty convinced that the power of a Pog was determined by the awesomeness of the image upon it. I was never able to prove it with science, but that did not deter me.

I'm still confused....
Did you have any of the Premiership pogs? Oh sweet Chris Sutton pog, how well you served me.

haha, two (well one) Premiership managers. Also my brother has the Premier League '95 sticker of Darren Pitcher on his wardrobe, as well as the Crystal Palace shiny.
Yeah they probably were gay to be fair. Except Coleman, because apparently he's been having an affair with a woman of all things.
Pogs are the little circles of card which you can see in the signature, which take on many different designs. They were a collectable, like Pokemon cards were, and you could win them by playing the pogs game which involved trying to turn them over by throwing a circular piece of plastic, called a slammer, at them.
Andy Preece! Simon Rodger! Eric Young!!!
My Premier League '98 Crystal Palace page is incomplete, but at least those guys had all left by then, so I'm not missing much. And at least I have Andy Linighan. I'm sure I had a bunch of Premiership Pogs, too, but my Pog collection had long since vanished so I can't nostalgialise about that.

The Crystal Palace is a strip club. I would hate to see any of those guys associated with a strip club.
...
I used to love Pogs. <3 I'd always steal my brothers.![]()

I say we should declare pog war on everyone.
