Elections: What is the deal with all these parties?

If everyone jumped off a bridge, would you do it too? I know, that sounded Cliche.

Well the other bodies would break the water tension so i wouldnt die (or they'd pile up and make a shorter fall and softer landing), and if i jumped i might be able to save someone's life and be a hero.

edit: i think we'll be fine as long as no one makes a lame popular culture reference out of their name like s club party or something
