An Issue with Viewing Profiles

I'm grounded so I've been gone for a little while, apparently there's been some sort of construction while I was gone.

I went to view my public profile, and the page said, "This user is not registered blah blah blah" I noticed in the link that it shows my username, and not my member number now. As you can see my name has an eighth note in it, and that doesn't work very well with URLs, so in the link instead of Jessweeee♪ it says jessweeee, which isn't registered.

Does this mean that we can't have special characters in our names anymore? I guess I'll be Jesse1 again :\

There's a new plugin in vB that allows for permalinks defined by the person's username (or the threads' title or the forums' title) which isn't parsing usernames with uncommon characters such as yours with great accuracy. clout is currently looking into fixing this.
