Hm...Vancouver (island possibly), Canada meetup?

Actually it will more like be a day of fun and then I have to leave.

My itinerary is very tight for this trip to Vancouver. I have asked Leeza to meet me and I would like to prioritise meeting her over anybody else.

I know Mandy lives in BC but I don't know where. Who else if anybody lives in British Columbia who can make it to a random (possibly one day meetup)?

The reason it's one day is if I end up going to Vancouver Island, I have a dinner to go to on Wednesday. So I will just go to say hi and see Leeza for a day (Thursday) and then go back to the Wedding (Friday). Weekend I am not sure what's going on with my family.

Wish it were longer but I'm going to Alberta the following week and I don't know if I can trade my ticket for one coming the week after :p

Anyway, who's up for a meeting? I haven't finalised everything (like whether Leeza is up for meeting several people), so take this tenatively.

Is the ferry ride REALLY six hours? From Tsawassen???
I swear to god is was like, 3 or 2 hours! :o

From Tsawassen the ferry ride is about 2 1/2 hours to Victoria. However, during July you should be in the ferry line-up a good hour earlier if you want to catch a ferry. If you miss it, (and during the summer months there are usually one or two sailing waits) the wait for the next one is three hours.

From Horeseshoe Bay to Nanaimo the ferry ride is 1 hour and 35 minutes...not sure how long it is to Victoria from here. The same thing applies for being there early though and for Horseshoe Bay you should be there more than an hour early. If you miss this one, the wait for the next one is usually around 2 hours.

So, all in all the actual ferry ride from Point A to Point B could, in fact, be more than 6 hours...or it could be as little as 2 to 4 hours as there's travel time before and after the ferry to take into account.
