A Weekend in the City was a bit of a disappointment, but Silent Alarm is one of the best albums of recent years, in my estimation. There's not a weak song on the record (unless you want to count the '06 re-issue that had Two More Years tacked on the end) and those songs still haven't lost their touch live. I suppose they're the sort of band that divides people, and the most common criticism I've heard of them is that they can be a bit 'boring', but I'd definitely recommend checking them out, just to be absolutely sure of which side you're on.
