Living Room/Den/Family Room - Geez do you live with your Mum? my parents would freak out if I left my underwear there (I might as well put them in the wash bin)

Kitchen - as long there is a washing machine there that's good enough if you are inviting guests put the wash bin in your bed room

Bathroom - yeah! you got naked, you had a shower or bath (depending how much you love hygine) and you forgot to pick them up.

Garage - I don't see why they are in your garage (ok they are demoted to rags)
