So what are your character rolls?

[Dynast-Kid]

Primary Team:
-Ashe: Swords, Spears, Hammers, Axes
-Fran: Guns, Bows
-Vaan: Katanas, Ninja Swords, Poles

Roles:
-Ashe: Ashe lead the party and would take out all of the small enemies. In areas of actual danger, she had Decoy casted on her, so she would take the brunt of the damge. She also had Protect on her to reduce damage, Bravery on her to incrase her damage amount, and Haste to increase her damage output. Thusly, she was my tank. She also was the one to cast Libra, and due to her high HP, she would also cast a good bit of white magick to help out Fran. Maybe Paladin would be a better word fro her.

-Fran: Fran was instinctly my long ranged fighter and mage. She was always running to keep her MP up when she was healing or casting damaging spells. Protect was on her 24/7, as was Faith and Regen (and occasionally Bubble). We needed those because she was the most vulnerable. Fomalhaut + Cat-Ear Hood = PWN

-Vaan: I don't really know what to classify him as. Thief, I guess. He handled the fast weapons so that we could get some quick damage in. He also used Steal alot so we could get items (most notably from Gilgamesh). Occasionally, I would use him to cast AoE buff spells on my party before we entered the fray, leaving Fran with lots of expendable MP. He's also one of my Manafonts, meaning Fran or Balthier (Depending on which party I'm using) will Syphon MP from them.

Secondary Party:
-Balthier: Guns, Bows, Crossbows
-Basch: Spears, Swords, Hammers & Axes
-Penelo: Varies

Roles:
-Balthier: Balthier is my secondary party's healer. He employs the same tactics as Fran, but usually focuses on healing rather than damage. Whenever my Primary Party was defeated, these guys would jump in to take their place. Basch and Penelo (mostly Basch) would be left to fend off the enemy while Balthier revived the main party.

-Basch: Basch and Ashe serve the same essential purpose, but Basch focuses on pure, raw damage, where Ashe uses some magick. Basch is also a Manafont.

-Penelo: Another hard one to classify. I'd say that she's my...Variable. Her role would switch depending on the current situation. When in Attack mode, she'd usually be equipped with a Dagger or Mace and unleashed on the enemy to score some quick hits; In Support mode, she'd usually have a Bow or Staff, and would hang back and sling some buffs towards Basch and the others. She was also the only one out of the entire six characters to use Measures on a frequent basis. She also summoned more than the others.

Adrammelech - Given to Basch

Cúchulainn - Planning on giving him to Vaan

Zodiac - Planning on giving him to Ashe

Main Party:
Ashe- Katanas, Spears, Swords.
Fran- Hand Axes, Bows, Crossbows, Spears.
Basch- Hand Axes, Swords.

Ashe: She's my support. She casts healing magic and is always my leader. She casts an AoE spell on enemies tightly packed at the begining of a fight and then charges into them with Basch. She is also my Summoner.

Fran: She is my Mage. She stays back and rarely goes into Melee combat. Occasionally I cast Berserk on her and just let her go crazy.

Basch: Tank. He inflicts the most damage at the moment (About 1000. 2000 with Berserk) Ashe always casts Berserk, Protect and Shell on him as he deals and takes the most damage.

Secondary Team:
Balthier- Poles, Maces.
Penelo- Guns. Lots of Guns.
Vaan- Daggers, Bows, Rods, Staves, Swords.

Balthier: He is this teams mage. He always opens with some status magic the blasts away with Fira or whatever. He's also a secondary Healer.

Penelo: My ranged person for this team and also the main healer. She attacks quite often as Balthier normally casts faster than her but she has more MP. She occasionally summons.

Vaan: He does nothing really. He attacks fast but only hits for a measly 200 damage so he normally just buffs the team.

Not very Balanced I know.
