I'm continually amazed that Nintendo's online service this generation is actually tier than Sony's pretty pathetic effort last generation, but online in Brawl is, at least, online in Brawl.

Now they just need to grasp the concept of how big a role voice communication can play in this sort of experience.

I'm liking Snake's theme song. Now, I bet quite a few people are going to plant land mines near the edge of the stage as edge guarding. And then there's the Nikita Missiles. And grenades.

    And don't forget the box.

What he is doing to Ike in one of those pics looks like it's gonna hurt

Piplup being a Pokeball Pokemon has practically confirmed that they're officially adding both 3rd and 4th Generation Pokemon in Brawl. That's good because I was kind of worried that they wouldn't add Pearl and Diamond Pokemon even with those games being released before Brawl did.

The Smash Bros. series always had a habit of skipping a Pokemon generation (having no Johto Pokemon in the N64 Version but having a Pokemon game with Johto Pokemon also on the N64, having no Hoenn Pokemon in the Gamecube version but having Hoenn Pokemon in a Pokemon Game also on the Gamecube). I know Nintendo can't really help doing that but I'm glad they didn't do that for Brawl (having no Sinnoh Pokemon on the Wii Version despite having a Pokemon game on the Wii with Sinnoh Pokemon).

As for Snake, I was against him being in Brawl from the beginning. I guess as long as Brawl is still more Nintendo than anything else (Konami, Namco, Square-Enix, etc.) I guess it should be okay.

Yeah, same here. He just doesn't seem to fit in the game.

Well, he was only added because Konami always wanted Nintendo to add Snake in a Smash Bros. game. Originally, he was supposed to be in melee.

Anyways, see the new assist trophy they added. Seems hilarious

The new assist trophy looks annoying.

Even though the maker of the MGS series practically begged for Snake to be in the game I'm still somewhat against it.

Mr. Resetti as an assist trophy sure is quite odd. Just imagine him appearing in the Last Event Match or when you're facing the Ancient Minister.

Hopefully he isn't one of those invincible Assist Trophies. It'd be quite fun to smash him out of the level during his lectures.
