Yeah, same here. He just doesn't seem to fit in the game.
Well, he was only added because Konami always wanted Nintendo to add Snake in a Smash Bros. game. Originally, he was supposed to be in melee.

Anyways, see the new assist trophy they added. Seems hilarious
