I actually like today's update. They confirmed five stages making it back and not just one. I also happen to not hate any of those levels (but I do hate always falling down the middle hole in Yoshi's Island). Too bad they didn't confirm Mute City though. I sure hope not. Same with Ness, Falco, and Pichu. Even if certain people think having characters with similar moves are redundant. They can always change their movesets around. And I'm sure that there'd be nothing wrong with keeping their A moves somewhat the same since that's what mostly separated the clone characters from each other (eg: Falco's spike and Fox's drill kick). It'd be quite awkward if they did kick out Ness or Marth. Having Ness' hometown be playable but not Ness himself would be extremely weird. Marth having his Emblem on the Castle Siege flags in Brawl but not Marth himself is just as bad (Marth's Emblem is on his cape if you don't know what it looks like). Also Nintendo would not stick in only one Fire Emblem character in Brawl since they had two in Melee. Not after they've released the Fire Emblem series out of Japan.
Which reminds me, anybody worried about Mewtwo and Mr. Game & Watch not making it? I know that they weren't really clones of anyone else but I'm still worried about them not making it back for some reason. (particularly Mr. Game & Watch. I've actually become quite decent with him)
Also I doubt Nintendo would prioritize third party characters over their own characters. (they better not...)
