from what I can understand, it sounds like one of his moves is to actually pull a pikmin from the ground, more than likely his Down B special move.

There's actually two more symbols missing, out of the 22 we "have" now

Symbol 21 has no character, but is used for a stage, the Pictochat one
Symbol 15 has no character, but is used for a stage, Animal crossing
and neither does symbol 5, but we all know that to be Captain Falcon's symbol, though right now it's there cause of Samurai Goroh

the only thing is, games with characters as assist trophies, that don't have playable characters, such as Dr. Wright or Knuckle Joe or Saki Amamiya, have the smash bros symbol for them. Basically I use this logic to tell me Captain Falcon, though not confirmed anywhere, is a playable character.

It's really nice to see another character update especially considering that it's been a long time since we've had one. And it's not just any character. (or a 3rd party character) It's Captain Olimar and the Pikmin!!!

It kind of leaves me with a lot of questions though. Is he a secret character or something? They started updating levels from game series twice which made me think that they aren't revealing things from game series that have secret characters. (like the Game & Watch series) Also, how does he work exactly? I'm thinking he's more complicated to use than the Ice Climbers or even the Pokemon Trainer.

Now to wait and see how long it takes before people start whining for another character update.

It won't happen. By the time we even consider getting disappointed about the lack of character updates the DOJO will be useless towards us. The game will already be out in Japan and we will have in-depth Walkthroughs explaining Brawl in immense details instead of a mere site that give us a mere 1 update a day.

Wow. That sure didn't sound like a villain speech. It's also a little harsh. Anyways, I'll hopefully only be using those walkthroughs to find out which characters make it in and which ones don't. I want to try to unlock everything by myself without having to resort to the internet to find out everything.

that would make 22 symbols, not 24, but 2 of those are blank... it wouldn't make sense to leave random 13, and 19 missing, if they didn't plan on having a symbol for them

claims to know the entire roster, I however am not so sure about some of those mentioned... and, that's a large roster

Yeeeah im not so impressed by that "fake" roster either. I mean some of the options sound cool and all but i still dont buy it. Any ways nice speculation on the whole captain falcon thing. I would also like to add that "Red alloy" is obviously based on captain falcon. We all knew he was in im just curious why sakuri hasnt mentioned him yet. I can possibly see maybe some of his moves being tweaked for ganondorfs sake (ex: maybe ganon keeps a move or two) but i dont find that overly nessicary (not to mention the off chance that ganon isnt a playable character but rather just a boss in subspace...which would be sooo lame) being a reason for delay but still i cant help but wonder...

Oh well we know he's in, we got a character yesterday some im now content with the DOJO. Hopfully we get olimars moves tommorow...im curious to see how the little guy operates.

Real, fake, take it at face value. The apparent full roster taken from Japan's 2chan. They mention Captain Falcon is the only person who hasn't appeared on the site from the Default/Starting roster, so everyone we've seen on the website is not an unlock.

I think if people are going to talk about this list, they should post in spoilers. Just in case this *is* real. (Which I doubt.)

Normally, I'd find today's update lousy (being a 3rd party character update) but seeing as how it makes Snake look like he's mimicking Dixie and Kiddy in DKC3 how they fight the snowman boss I actually find it quite funny.

Olimar's move set is up. Looks to be just like they say, very interesting and specialized. I love how they kept the properties of all the Pikmin in mind and didn't just make them the same thing with a different color coating. I'll definitely have to give Olimar some serious play time, because he looks to be very deadly if you give him some practice. Kinda sad they didn't give his Final Smash away though. I'm wracking my brain to think of one, and all I can find is the Nectar Power-Up idea, the Dolphin doing something, or a horde of computer controlled Pikmin appearing from Onions and swarming enemies.
