I am working on getting his face carved on Mount Rushmore to replace Abe Lincoln who did nothing useful except preserve the Union and free the slaves.

Boro also had a Brazilian World Cup winning defender (Branco? Branca? I don't remember) in that team. It's insane that they went down.
Paulo Wachope is a beautiful man, and his goal against the Germans was one of the best moments of the World Cup. Might he do a George Weah and run for President of Costa Rica? Please, make it so!

Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I were as great as Paulo Wanchope.
He was ok. Not great, not consistant enough to ever be considered 'great'. As I follow Argentine football, I seen him recently at Rosario Central, he never really hit it off there either & buggered off to Japan.

Argentine football is great. Sometimes I catch it in the early hours on channel 5. Almost everybody has long hair, the kits are dodgy, and plenty of guys dribbling round 3-4 players, then putting the ball hilariously wide. This is football at its purest, if you ask me. Cracking stuff. Go Banfield!
Banfield are meh. Estudiantes are the team to follow there! Mariano Pavone & Jose Sosa would do well in Europe (I think Sosa has been already bought by Bayern actually).Argentine football is great.
