FF7 is crashing at Bugenhagen observatory:(

I decided to play the game once more except this time i was doing it on the pc. I've had to install the XP patch since i'm running windows xp atm.
The never ending problem keeps occurring to me like it has for so many others. You step into Bugenhagens lift thing, caith sith and aeris go into their places, lil chat, the first movie with the shooting star plays, followed by the dark hole one and then the game freezes with only aeris left eye blinking once every few seconds:S
I've tried literally everything suggested on the net and i'm down to asking someone to download my save file, passing that short scene, saving and resending me the file.

Now my question is: Does someone still have this game installed and is willing to help me out?

It's just right to me since I only have finished FF VII these days~ haha

BTW, I once have installed the XP patch but since then my game cannot operate normally anymore! Only when I installed my game again then it can run again, I wonder why.
