Favorite Overworld Theme

Aside from the battle music and fanfare, this is the song you usually hear the most in an FF. which one did you like the best?

Right now I'm going with FFIV's. That game had alot of my favorite music from the series, this one is one of my favorites from it.

FFIX

Out of the two that I can remember, FFVII. FFVIII’s is boring, and it feels like someone is knitting dried gut into the back of my throat.

FF III's and FF IX's. I also like the overworld theme of FF III when you first land on the surface world, when it is still flooded (= Boundless Ocean).

I think I like VII's best... I think it captures the feel of the game quite well...

Final Fantasy VI world of ruin (I honestly prefer it to Terra's theme as much as I love the character) and Final Fantasy IV normal world theme.

Blue Fields is my second favorite. The Main Theme for FFIV and FFVII, as well as World of Ruin from FFVII are also some of the better ones. But from them all, the Main Theme from FFII is my absolute favorite.

Second goes to Blue Fields from VIII. Which I like a lot.
