Thread: Elnoyle....

  1. #1

    Default Elnoyle....

Everyone knows the Elnoyle in Esthar...

well, if Squall kills it with Renzokuken and no Finisher, it continues to float there while the victory music plays!

By the way, I had Lionheart.
Aurora, exhale bloody air! Dark Holy!

Can't say I noticed, really, although Elnoyles are really useful things to kill as the items they drop are really good for modifying some weapons and making better items.

There is a soldier in Esthar after the Lunar Cry (although I can't for the life of me remember where... ), and if you talk to him, you will always face an Elnoyle. He'll disappear after the fight, but you can keep coming back to that screen, that soldier will always be there. That's about the only interesting thing I know about the Elnoyles.

If memory serves, you can junction 100 Deaths to Stat-Atk and kill them instantly.

Elnoyles aren't as annoying as those Malboros. Stupid green tentacle monster-like plants. -_-

    Malboros are so much worse.
Elnoyles give good stuff and die easily.

Marlboros are also a hated enemy, but you need their stuff to get Doomtrain (no wonder I never got it)

Cheers to Polaris for the set!

All you need to deal with Malboros are status defense junctions. Once you have 4 of the worst statuses junctioned you can treat the rest with Treatment or a Remedy.

you've just got to know how to deal with malboros. more trouble than their worth if you ask me i've never thought doomtrain worth the time and trouble.

elnoyles are powerful boss style though but they are well worth it.

as far as i know. the only way to fight an elnoyle is talk to the wierd soldier.

Doomtrain is definately the most useful GF and a must have. It has useful abilities and is even better in battle. It inflicts nearly every status ailment including Meltdown. How can you not get Doomtrain if you know how? Malboros are nothing with the right junctions and the other ingredients aren't that much of a hassle to get.

You can encounter Elnoyles around Esthar too, it's just easier to talk to the guy in Esthar.

Don't Elnoyles stop appearing after the Lunar Cry though? I've found that once that happens, it's Toramas and Turtapods only.

The weird soldier is still there, though, even after Lunar Cry.

Esthar is one buggy city. The colors go weird often and I've seen the elnoyle stay there after then end of the battle often.
