The Elnoyle room is not a specific room in the game.
The enemies are not definite, i.e. all of them could possibly be exchanged for others.
The answer for the riddle is the answer all the lines have in common, or rather a representation of it.
That should be enough hints for a while.
Is the use of the word "doom" in the last line significant? i.e. does it refer to the spell that puts the little number thingy above your head and count down to YOUR DEATH??
It doesn't refer to the spell, no. It could be translated into "scary event".

You need to think simpler. I'd say the easiest line to start at is the second one. Find the right answer to that one, find the connection and you'll have it solved. It's not very intricate at all.
