I'm fairly new here, but just for the record, is there any time limit whatsoever? Maybe it's me, but it seems to me to be something of a game-killer to hold people in suspense with the same riddle for nearly two weeks.

No, it's to do with a battle against multiple bosses by a party whose individual composition doesn't matter. Another prerequisite is to be without Love.

There isnt a time limit, and the point is to make them hard, 2 weeks is a long time, but if 'we' cant figure it out then thats our fault, what would be the point in making them really easy?>? Oh and welcome to EOFF,

I'm sure many here will recall painful memories of the FFIX riddle which lasted months. I consider myself generous with hints so it shouldn't take that long.
