I have the same problem with Balthier on XII. I just can't like him, he is too darn annoying to me!!!

Okay, admittedly, Tidus was brave to do what he did.

But the irritating attitude he kept all the way thorugh thr game ruined him for me.

The tiniest things, like quipping "Live and let live!" in a dorky voice really really REALLY annoyed me. They tried to give him the appeal of a kiddy, cheerful boy, and it just made me want to scream at him. He also had absolutely no respect for people, and he wasn't badass enough to get away with it.

(As a note, Yuna's little mini spell raps were annoying, but they were just funny :P)
